Today is my 31st birthday… I’m not sure whether I feel the right side of 40 or the wrong side of 30.
The girls and I have also headed to our home town to spend the weekend with the family hence the Panic not being 100% awesome and stuff. 🙂

I’ve been playing with this concept in my head for a while as I am one of the artists in the ‘Artisty of Wine” exhibition/auction piece for the Coonawarra Cabernert Celebrations. Essentially, 30 odd artists are given a labelless bottle of Cooawarra Cabernet Sauvignon in which to “art” up!
Mine will hopefully look something like this.
I imagine all angels wear Polar-fleece hoodies and red thermal undergarments… and if they don’t, then they aren’t real angels.
Drawn with Letraset markets on 160gsm A3 gouache paper.
Back to the relative comfort and safety of digital illustration and multiple undos. Today’s image is a nice little quick one I thought would look good on a tee.
I wasnt sure if there was a correct order for the phrase “… no evil” So I just popped them in as I saw fit.

Thought I’d try the surreal-stream-of-consciousness-crazy-assed-illustration again today… still having the problem of not knowing when to stop although I think this one is a little more coherent than Mystic Mountain.
I wanted to do something that was as close to a freaky dream as possible, bordering on scary but not.
