I’ve been enjoying reading Frank Herbert’s Dune saga, one of the most celebrated science fiction novels ever written.
One thing that has always spun me out about this series (apart from the whole crazy spice-induced seeing of the future stuff) is when Leto II becomes a worm and pronounces himself a god. Yeah, it sounds silly but Herbert writes in such a way where you understand the reasons why.
It’s still pretty silly, especially how Leto II is described as looking, complete with funny little flipper legs.
I quite enjoyed drawing Leto. He here is, in all his wormy glory!
