Well, here it is.. 100 Panics in 100 days, it’s been a blast and Im looking forward to another 265 images in 265 days!
Today’s image is a continuation of the Jazz Freaks Series with the Boondock Boys, one body, two heads!
Nate Boondock on the left is a virtuoso jazz trumpet player and Jackie Boondock on the right is a famous beat poet but equally handy on the horn.
Red Hot Red
Another one in the Jazz Freaks series… this time we have a shout out to the girls with Red Hot Red. Vocalist, hot mama and all-round nice lady…. and the ability to control fire when singing smoky jazz standards.

I had fun with yesterday’s Panic so I thought I would continue it on with a little series of fictional Jazz Mutant Superheros or whatever these dudes are… Today introduces SMOKIN’ JOE JOHNSON… fastest snare drummer on the West Coast.
Hip Cat Jack (#95)
With yesterday’s Panic being seriously ordinary in the illustrative and creative sense, I felt I needed to redeem myself a little. One problem though is I left my Wacom Pen 100km away at my mum’s house as we were staying down there to help her and her partner Allan celebrate their wedding which we held down at the creek which runs past my mums house.
It was a great day, with all the family being a part of the ceremony!
But I digress, today’s Panic is drawn purely with the mouse and pen tool in Illustrator… no Wacom to be seen! Texture added in Photoshop.
