Goodbye Christopher Hitchens (#330/365)

Another of my heroes died today. Christopher Hitchens had a mind and a wit beyond many, if not all in this world and I will miss him very much. And yes, the use of Rest In Peace within the illustration is to be taken as tongue in cheek.

A sad day.

Lunch! (#329/365)

I love nothing more than dreaming up, and watching/reading crazy-arsed apocalyptic giant monster end of the world stories…. Think Cthulhu, Godzilla, Onslaught, The Borg… just world ending nastiness!

This little fella is a bit cute, but has just entered through a wormhole from another hell-ish dimension and the f*cker is hungry!

Film! (#324/365)

Crazy quick Panic today… literally my fastest one every I think… all of about 7 minutes! Inspired by a Facebook status update and the ensuring comments.

As some of you would know, I have never hidden my love for film cameras but the wait for development kills me…. to remedy this, I am considering a home darkroom!

In my day… (#320/365)

I saw a post on Facebook today about how our parents and grandparent’s would go on about how much harder they had it than us and how, now as our generation is having kids the things we will say to them like how we didnt have

  • The Internet
  • Facebook
  • Digital Music Players

and how we did have

  • Musicians that could play an actual instrument
  • People becoming famous by being talented at something and not by appearing on a TV show
  • Hypercolour T-shirts… ok, well that might not be a great thing
  • Grunge Music
