The Four Evangelists

The Apostle Luke
One plus of waking up at 3.30am is I have more time to draw! 🙂
In traditional depictions, such as paintings, evangelist portraits and church mosaics, St. Luke is often accompanied by an ox or bull, usually having wings.
Here are the other evangelists I have drawn so far… Matthew to go and then I’ll pop them in a limited edition print. Stay tuned!

The voice of the lion is the symbol of St. Mark… Had a lot of fun drawing John yesterday so I think Ill draw all four evangelists 🙂
